Frontline Spot On For Cats is a long-lasting flea and tick treatment for cats and kittens.
Frontline Spot On tackles cat fleas (Ctenocephalides Spp.) and ticks (Dermacentor Spp, Ixodes Spp and Rhipicephalus Spp.) between 24 and 48 hours after application.
Frontline Spot On For Cats does not requiring parasites to bite your pet and acts by direct contact as it dissolves into the natural oils of your pet's skin and coat.
As a result, Frontline Spot On protects your cat continuously for several weeks at a time and is the longest-lasting flea and tick treatment available without prescription.
Frontline should not be used on sick or convalescing cats and kittens less than 8 weeks of age and less than 1kg in bodyweight.
Each Frontline Spot On For Cats protects your cat from flea infestation for up to 5 weeks for fleas and you should apply a single dose every 4 weeks to maintain cover.
To apply Frontline Spot On for your cat, hold the pipette upright and tap its narrow end to ensure its contents are within the main body of the pipette.
Then break the snap-off top of the Frontline pipette along the scored line and part you cat's coat between their shoulder blades until their skin is visible.
Place the tip of the pipette directly against their bared skin and empty its contents preferably at the base of the their skull and 2 to 3cm further down their back.
It is important to ensure each Frontline Spot On is applied to an area where your cat cannot lick it off and that animals do not lick each other following treatment.
Frontline Spot On is manufactured by Merial and each pipette contains Butylhydroxyanisole (E320), Butylhydroxytoluene (E321) and Fipronil (50mg).
Frontline Spot On For Cats comes in a packs of 3 or 6 pipettes.
